Mechanical Fair UGM 2026 Recognizes United Tractors’ Support in the Heavy Equipment Competition

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vocational College, Universitas Gadjah Mada extends its highest appreciation and recognition to United Tractors for the support and contribution provided in the implementation of the Heavy Equipment Competition as part of the Mechanical Fair UGM 2026 series of events. The competition was held on 20–21 May 2026 at Campus II of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vocational College, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Jalan Grafika 2A, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

The support from United Tractors played an important role in the success of this activity, particularly in providing participants with an applicable, contextual, and industry-relevant learning experience. Through direct involvement from industry partners, participants gained valuable insights into the latest developments in technology, operational systems, and practical applications in the heavy equipment sector, which continues to evolve in response to industrial demands. read more

DTM Vocational College UGM and PT Tempopress International Delivery Formalize MoU and Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Yogyakarta, 9 December 2025 — The Department of Mechanical Engineering (DTM), Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with PT Tempopress International Delivery. The signing ceremony was held at the Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) of the Vocational College UGM on Tuesday morning, from 09.00 to 13.00 WIB, marking an important milestone in strengthening collaboration between higher vocational education and the heavy equipment industry. read more

Enhancing Vocational School Teachers’ Competence in Heavy Equipment through Reverse Engineering Technology Training

Yogyakarta, September 2025 — The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada (DTM SV UGM) organized a community service program titled “Enhancing Vocational School Teachers’ Competence in Heavy Equipment through Reverse Engineering Technology Training” held from September 8–10, 2025, at both the DTM SV UGM and Fablab Jogja Indonesia, located within the Field Research Center (FRC) UGM, Kulon Progo.

The program was led by  Yosephus Ardean Kurnianto Prayitno, along with lecturers and students from DTM SV UGM: Setyawan Bekti Wibowo, Handoko, Sugiyanto, Agustinus Winarno, Ilham Ayu Putri Pratiwi, Tofaenal Akhyar, Luthfi Athaya Wicaksono, and Ahmad Muhsin Al Mataromi. They were supported by Ahmat Hari Setiyawan, technical staff from the CoE Fablab Jogja Indonesia, and industrial collaborators from PT United Tractors, Tbk.
