The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vocational College, Universitas Gadjah Mada successfully held an International Guest Lecture entitled “CAD for Engineering Design and Additive Manufacturing Applications” on Thursday, 4 June 2026. The event was conducted online via Zoom from 07:30 to 09:15 WIB or 08:30 to 10:15 Malaysia Time.

The guest lecture featured Dr. Abdul Yasser bin Abd Fatah, Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Coordinator of the Master of Science in Engineering Design, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, UTM. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Five students from the Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SV UGM), accompanied by two supervising lecturers, participated in the SEMI TECH Zoomers Bootcamp – ASEM organized by SEMICON Southeast Asia from May 4–7, 2026, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Malaysia.
