The Department of Mechanical Engineering (DTM), Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada welcomed a visit from the team of MathWorks on Friday, 30 January 2026, from 13.00 to 15.00 WIB. The visit took place at the DTM premises, Jl. Yacaranda Sekip Unit IV, Yogyakarta, and was conducted as part of a sponsorship visit and an initial discussion on potential collaboration between the two institutions.

The MathWorks delegation consisted of Bambang Nugroho (Account Manager, Indonesia), Ade Pratama (Application Engineer, Indonesia), and Yaswenee (CWL Success Story, Malaysia). The visit followed the successful sponsorship collaboration with Team Yacaranda, whose members achieved several category wins at PLN ICE 2025. read more

The guest lecture featured Dr. Kasma Diana Binti Saharuddin from the Department of Engineering and Built Environment, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), Penang, Malaysia. The session was held online via Zoom. read more
