Open Recruitment: Purchasing Staff (Technical)
PT. Shinryo Indonesia is a well-established Japanese Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Contractor company. We are currently looking for a meticulous and driven individual with a technical background to join our procurement team.
Responsibilities:
* Request inquiries, technical data, and quotations from suppliers for MEP/Mechanical material orders.
* Check and verify material specifications from suppliers to ensure full compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and approved drawings.
* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to meet project timelines.
* Prepare and manage procurement documentation, including Purchase Orders (PO) and cost comparisons.
* Coordinate closely with the Engineering, QA/QC, and Project Site teams regarding material technical approvals and delivery status.
Requirements:
* Fresh Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree (S1 / D4) in Mechanical Engineering.
* Good basic understanding of engineering materials, piping, HVAC systems, or mechanical components, and the ability to read technical specifications/data sheets.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Honest, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under tight project deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Ms. Excel for data and cost calculation).
* Fluency or proficiency in English (both verbal and written)
