Pada tahun 2024, Departemen Teknik Mesin Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) memulai proyek penelitian inovatif yang bertujuan untuk merancang mekanisme mesin pengaduk kompos yang efisien. Inisiatif ini merupakan bagian dari upaya yang lebih luas untuk mengatasi masalah pengelolaan sampah organik yang mendesak, yang memiliki implikasi lingkungan yang signifikan. Proyek ini sejalan dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan, teknologi, dan produktivitas ekonomi. Pengelolaan sampah organik melalui pengomposan adalah solusi penting untuk mengurangi dampak negatif sampah organik terhadap lingkungan. Sebagai bagian dari upaya penyaluran kreativitas dan inovasi siswa/i SMA/K/sederajat, Mechanical Fair mengadakan lomba kompetensi siswa dibidang teknik mesin dan karya ilmiah. Lomba tersebut meliputi lomba karya tulis ilmiah, lomba welding, lomba metrologi, lomba CAD, lomba CAD CAM, dan lomba PLC. Kegiatan lomba dilaksanakan secara online untuk babak penyisihan dan offline untuk babak final. Babak final dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7 Mei 2024 berlokasi di Kampus Sekip DTM SV UGM untuk LKTI dan Lab Grafika DTM SV UGM untuk lomba welding, metrologi, PLC, CAD, dan CAD CAM. Lomba ini juga bekerja sama dengan beberapa mitra, seperti PLC yang bekerja sama dengan PT Omron, lomba Welding yang bekerja sama dengan MultiPro, dan Metrologi yang kolaborasi dengan Accretech. read more

– Making standard parameter for melting casting production process
– Execute training for production operator if there is a new standard
– Controlling production process so that it can meet the standard
– Execute trial for new product
– Evaluating standard parameter for Routine Maintenance and Machine Improvement

Job Requirements:
– Diploma degree in Mechanical / Manufacture Engineering, Metal / Foundry Casting Engineering, Machine Engineering (min GPA 3.00)
– At least 1 year of working experience, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
– Having experience or study in manufacturing process & CAD
– Proficient in operating 2D & 3D design applications and Microsoft Office.
– Have good analysis and logical thinking
– Eager to learn and have good communication skills
– Able to work in teams and individually
– Have a good mentality (not giving up easily)
