YOGYAKARTA – The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vocational College, Universitas Gadjah Mada (DTM SV UGM) held the Graduation Release Ceremony for Period IV of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. A total of 78 graduates were officially released during a solemn event held in Room 218, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sekip Unit IV, from 01:30 PM to 04:00 PM WIB.
The graduating cohort consisted of students from two study programs: 48 graduates from the Applied Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Technology (TRM) program and 30 graduates from the Applied Bachelor in Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Management Technology (TPPAB) program. This event officially marks the successful completion of the students’ academic and applied training at DTM SV UGM.
In his opening address, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering SV UGM, Dr. Ir. Sugiyanto, S.T., M.Eng., IPM., extended his heartfelt appreciation for the graduates’ accomplishments. He encouraged the alumni to uphold integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning as they enter the workforce or pursue further studies.
Messages of encouragement were also delivered by Dr. Nyayu Aisyah, SST, M.T., representing the faculty. Meanwhile, Mustafa Akmal Fakhrizal delivered the valedictory speech on behalf of the graduating class, expressing gratitude for the faculty’s guidance and the department’s supportive academic environment.
During the ceremony, special recognition was awarded to the top-performing graduates from each study program:
