Yogyakarta, 18 September 2025 — The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vocational College Universitas Gadjah Mada, has completed a one-month community service program titled “Enhancing Competency of Vocational School Teachers in Heavy Equipment”. This program officially began with an opening ceremony on 18 August 2025 and concluded on 18 September 2025. Yogyakarta, 16 September 2025 – The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada (DTM SV UGM), in collaboration with PT United Tractors, successfully conducted a Training on IoT Applications in Heavy Equipment as part of its community service initiatives. The program was held online on 15 September 2025 and continued with an in-person session on 16 September 2025 at the Sekip Campus, DTM SV UGM.

Participants from three vocational high schools—SMKN 1 Ngawen, SMK Veteran 1 Sukoharjo, and SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Playen—joined the training. The program was led by Ir. Irfan Bahiuddin, S.T., M.Phil., Ph.D., IPM, supported by academic staff such as M. Hilmi Wicaksono, S.T., alongside student and alumni assistants including Rian Miftahul Huda and Yogi Ilham Ruswara. PT United Tractors played a key role as the industrial partner in this initiative. read more
