ULAANBAATAR – In an effort to expand international collaboration and make a tangible contribution to solving the global environmental crisis, Dr. Eng. Ir. Yosephus Ardean Kurnianto Prayitno, S.T., M.Eng. (familiarly known as Dr. Ade), a lecturer at the Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), served as the Global Lead Instructor in the “Nomatech Challenge: Problem to Prototyping” event. This first-ever product development bootcamp in Mongolia was officially organized by the Gerlab Engineering Workshop, Ulaanbaatar Science and Technology Park, National University of Mongolia (NUM) from August 10 to 18, 2026, and is part of the international COP17 activities.

Yogyakarta, December 1, 2025 — Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) welcomed an official delegation from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), China, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation in research, academic activities, and cross-border professional exchange. The meeting was held on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 15:00 to 16:00 WIB, at the Rector’s Guest Room, Main Building of UGM, North Wing, 2nd Floor.

The NUAA delegation was led by Prof. TAO Yong, Vice Chairman of the University Board, accompanied by Prof. KONG Chuiqian, Dr. ZHANG Guoquan, Dr. ZHANG Lin, Dr. WU Weiwei, and Prof. JIN Quanyuan. From UGM, the meeting was attended by university and faculty leaders, including the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the Dean of the Vocational College, the Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources of the Vocational College, the Director of Partnerships and Global Relations, and the Head of the International Cooperation Subdirectorate.
