LOCAL OPERATOR BTG/BOP ( LO-BTG/BOP )
Job Descriptions :
- The Local Operator will be responsible to perform all tasks assigned in a safe and also be responsible manner in accordance with the established operating procedures and instructions (written and verbal) from the Unit Controller/Assistant Unit Controller using their depth knowledge
- Works outside in the plant and is in regular communication with the Unit Controller directly and/or by radio in field operations such as making manual adjustments to valve and equipment etc.
- Observe local instruments, gauges, and meters to verify conformance to standard operating practice
- Start and stop pumps, compressors and other equipment based on the direction of the Unit Controller and/or Assistant Unit Controller
- Patrol the plant and ensures that the equipment is operating normally and that no unusual conditions exist and practices, classifies equipment from hazard point of view
- Be able to inform Unit Controller/Assistant Unit Controller accurately in accordance with raising work order for any correction finding in case of equipment/instrumentation malfunction
- Provide a field supervision service outside of the control rooms during normal and taking appropriate actions in accordance with emergency operation
- Perform daily report and/or check list based on the plant condition through checking equipment operation parameters including minor maintenance based on check list
- Responsible for preparing equipment for maintenance including preparation of isolation works (PTW), draining, steaming, and other procedures as required.
- Work directly with the foreign experts in the transfer of technical advice during the commissioning period
- Campaign, promote and implementing the safety and environmental aspect during undertaking the works.
- To be appointed as temporary firefighting crew, acts as a one of firefighting crew In case of emergency.
Requirements :
- Minimum Diploma Degree (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Naval Engineering or relevant Engineering from reputable University
- Minimum GPA is 3.00 of 4.00
- Having maximum 2 (two) years working experience in any engineering company will be preferable. Fresh graduated is welcome to apply
- Having a good knowledge in thermodynamic, physic, electrical, chemistry, mathematic, fluid mechanic, heat transfer, fuel combustion etc.
- Understanding about basic principles of mechanical, electrical concept and process
- Basic MS-Office (MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word and MS-Project),
- Fluently in English is a must
- Willing to work at height
- Willing to work in shift pattern
- Willing to be placed in Batang, Central Java
