Yogyakarta, 29 September 2023 – Departemen Teknik Mesin Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) berhasil sukses menyelenggarakan Summer Course berjudul “Digital Manufacturing: A Short Course.” Acara yang berlangsung selama sepuluh hari, dari tanggal 15 hingga 29 Agustus 2023, mengundang peserta dari berbagai latar belakang, termasuk seorang peserta internasional dari Jepang.

Summer Course ini dilaksanakan di beberapa lokasi, termasuk laboratorium Digital Manufacturing, Teaching Industry Learning Center, dan Field Research Center. Dalam rangka kursus ini, peserta diajak untuk mendalami berbagai aspek digital manufacturing, mencakup teknologi seperti computer-aided design (CAD), 3D printing, konsep rapid prototyping, konsep CNC (Computer Numerical Control), Laser cutting, dan masih banyak lagi.
