Today, Monday, August 7–Wednesday, August 9, 2023, students and graduates for the August 2023 period of the Mechanical Engineering Department SV–UGM participate in SolidWorks training, which aims to obtain CSWA certification (Certified SolidWorks Associate) in the Design Laboratory.
SolidWorks is one of the most popular 3D design programs in the world, used by many manufacturing companies to create product models and design various prototypes. CSWA certification is an important step for students and graduates looking to strengthen their design skills and enhance their career prospects in the industry.
This course aims to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of SolidWorks and teach efficient and innovative design techniques. Certified and experienced instructors in the field of design deliver this training with interactive methods, discussions, and hands-on practical sessions. Students and graduates are expected to be able to prepare themselves for the CSWA certification exam held by Dassault Systèmes, the developer of SolidWorks. This certification will attest to their ability to use the software in a professional manner and will be a significant added value in their search for a career in the design and manufacturing industries.
This training is expected to provide real benefits for students and graduates of the Mechanical Engineering Department at SV-UGM. Students and graduates for the August 2023 period will be able to face more complex design challenges and face job competition more confidently by having a CSWA certification. Students and graduates for the August 2023 period who were involved in this period totaled 15 people.
Furthermore, it is hoped that this activity will continue for all students of the Mechanical Engineering Department at SV-UGM. Hopefully, with this training, students and graduates can hone their design skills and gain wider opportunities in the world of work that demands reliable technical expertise.
